meg-stuart.com, a choreographer's archive

42 pages, 23 videos and 112 images, live on the client's own domain and owned by the client
Meg Stuart is an American choreographer and dancer who works from Berlin and Brussels. Her company Damaged Goods has produced her pieces since 1994, and in 2018 the Venice Biennale gave her the Golden Lion for lifetime achievement. Her website is the archive of that work: video works, performances, on-site projects, the Mystery School, printed matter.
Designed with Julie Felten (@julcy.art). First built on a page builder; when that plan lapsed, Layer02 rebuilt the site as static Next.js pages from the original: 42 pages, 23 videos, 112 images, the slide between pages and the line that follows the scroll, self-hosted fonts, hosted by Layer02 on Cloudflare. Live again since September 2026.

Understood what I was looking for before I could put it into words, and came back with ideas of his own. Structured, reliable, easy to work with, and the result is elegant. I love the site.
